• Open the app and tap the shutter — the date, time and place are stamped onto the photo and saved to the “TimeStamp” album.
• No address? Check that location is allowed and you are online. If the address isn’t ready when you shoot, the app never uses an old address and shows a notice instead.
• Use the template button on the camera screen to switch or save stamp templates.
• Tap the photo button to stamp existing photos — one at a time, or many at once using each photo’s original date and place.
• Photos that use a manually set time are always marked “time set manually”.

Privacy Policy

TimeStamp is free with no ads, no in-app purchases and no account, and it does not collect any personal data on the developer’s servers.

• Camera — used only to take photos, which stay on your device.
• Location — used to stamp coordinates and the place name. Address lookup uses Apple’s map services; the developer never receives your location.
• Photo library — used to save to the “TimeStamp” album and to read the date/location of existing photos you choose to stamp.
• Network time — the app reads the time from public servers (e.g. apple.com) to check the device clock. None of your data is sent.
• No ads, no analytics, no cross-app tracking, and no data is sold or shared.
