SlipJot – Support & Privacy

Updated 10 October 2026

Support. Go to Settings › Slips, turn on reading slips and allow Photos access. The app reads e-slips your banking app saves to Photos (for example the K PLUS album) and slips among your recent photos, from the moment reading is turned on. Add your name in Thai and English as it appears on slips, so money you send is told apart from money you receive and transfers between your own accounts are not counted as spending. Each slip waits in the inbox with a suggested category for you to confirm. If slips don't appear, check that your banking app saves slips to Photos and that Photos access is allowed in iPhone Settings › SlipJot › Photos. The app is free, with no purchases, subscriptions or ads. This is the first version: more banks, wallets and features are on the way, and a slip that is read wrong can be sent (with names and account numbers covered) to the address here. Contact: tatami.thirawat@gmail.com.

Privacy. The developer does not collect, sell or use your data, and runs no servers. Photos access is used only to read bank transfer slips, on the device, with the iPhone's built-in text recognition; images are never uploaded or copied off the device, and the app never edits or deletes them. It remembers only which photos it has already read. Your entries, categories, notes, names and settings are stored on your device only. Backup and CSV files are made only when you ask, or by automatic backup into a folder you choose (such as iCloud Drive); the app removes only its own older automatic backups there. Looking up what kind of place a payee is stays off until you turn it on; then only the shop or company name (never an amount, a date or a person's name) is searched in Apple Maps, under Apple's privacy policy. Bill reminders are scheduled on the device, the widget reads figures from the app on the same device, and Siri passes the amount you say straight to the app. No accounts, sign-in, ads, analytics, trackers or third-party SDKs. Data is included in ordinary device backups, governed by Apple's privacy policy, and is removed when you delete the entries or the app. The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
